I just bought a K-1 (from ebay :P), but I've been a pentax user for a while now, having owned a K-50 for taking pictures for my hiking trips and of the stars at night. The K-50 is really a great camera and has a lot of awesome features that other cameras just don't have, and I really appreciate the image quality. I'll probably be posting a bit asking for lens suggestions soon.

Thanks for the kind welcome everyone! I will definitely try to post on the forum and seek advice, but I'm not sure my photography and post-processing skills can match the level of people who participate in the challenges!
