Hello from Scotland!

Hello fellow Pentax users!

I'm pretty new to DSLR photography but have been enjoying it since I bought a Pentax KS1 a few months ago.

It's taken me a while to find/join this forum! But I hope to have a good chat and learn from you all.

Happy shooting,
Scott

Welcome to PF Scott.

The K-S1 will be a lot of fun. I have a K-S2 which has the same sensor, and it produces excellent images.

My tip is to start by reading the manual thoroughly, so you understand the features. Then try lots of different things. Enjoy it.

Would you settle for just two out of three?

You'd better hurry - Teresa May is going to sell it, either literally or down the river.

It will still be there, won't it???
I don't think she will just saw it off and let it sink, surely??

If so, Scott and the old Kerrowdown better invest in a boat each.

What are suggesting, I either don't share... or that I don't play well with others?

No no no no.
How much room would be left in the boat for Scott, after you had packed in all your ladies and your claymore?

You have forgotten... that we have the Royal Yacht Britannia moored at Leith.

Hi Scott and welcome to the Forums. I'm originally from Glasgow, now in Australia, via NZ! I have a KS1 as well..Good, underrated camera. I joined the forums about 4 years ago and gained a lot of knowledge (possibly!) through other members help and some of the info you get here as well. Good luck with your photography.
