Hi.
I'm new here, and pretty new to digital photography. I was using whole my life analog SLR: old russian Zenits (first one was 3M with M39 mount, second and last one was 12XP with M42). Few months ago I decided to move to digital era and with all "buy Nikon, buy Canon" I got mad
and looked at Sony and Pentax in the end deciding on K-50. It was small enough for my hands - bit smaller then Zenit XP I was comfortable with so pretty ok. Shape and controls also are more natural then those on D5300 and EOS 700D. So I'm pretty happy with it. Even smaller (size of Zenit 3M which was perfect for me) but I think this will be possible only with mirorless camera. And while I considered OM-D E-M5 I could not get used to digital viewfinder. Sad
Anyway - I like macrophotography (flowers!) and planes (static) plus just shooting things while walking around. But for now I am limited by my lenses: I have only 18-55mm kit and 35mm DA (plastic-fantastic but I love weight of this lens
). So most of my shots are just from walk arounds.
I bougth DCR-150, I'll try it with kit and with 35mm - we will see how it works for flowers. Thinking about buying some macro, but then I also need a 200-300mm for airshows to shot planes far behind barriers so I decided on converter first.
Bit long introductions so here are some photos I took:
