How Do from NW England

Hello Folks
Recently bough a s/h K3 - my first ever DSLR - though I have used film ones since I was a sprog.
Masses to learn it seems, though I have managed to sort of get my manual lenses to work.
However, with the DA lens I followed the recommended settings but the picture quality is worse than my mobile even when I switch everything to auto. I suspect its something incredibly basic that I would know if I had had a DSLR before.
Any ideas? Could write speed be the issue?

No.

The answer depends on what you mean by poor picture quality. Can you post an example image to show the problem? Preferably put it in a new thread in the 'troubleshooting' forum.

Cheers ah...

Hy'up mi'duck from Deepest darkest Derbyshire!
I've got a K3 if you want discuss things. I've found it a cracking piece of kit and well worth persevering with.
