G'Day from Down Under!

Well, I'm told I should introduce myself so here I am.
A (finally) retired member of the A.D.F and living on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula, I dug out my elderly K-5 and have found plenty of interesting areas to brush up on my meager camera skills.
We live on a former farm with access to the National Park on three sides and Bass Strait in the front.
Just the usual 'Scenic Shots' but it shows the type of opportunities literally on my doorstep.
I'm here to learn, be gentle with me!

Welcome - the K5 is a great bit of kit, not so much of the elderly already!

Welcome to the Pentax Forums. I've known Biggles_101 (under a different user name) for several years now as we are both Staff members on a non-photo related forum. Looking forward to some more pics of your area of the Great Southern Land.

BTW there are a lot of petrol heads on here so you should soon feel at home when you discover all the classic car and motorcycle threads/photos. Here's a thread dedicated to classic cars and motorcycles to get you started.... Classic motorbikes and cars thread. - PentaxForums.com . That should keep you busy for a few hours!

Nice area and nice shots. Welcome to the forum. I use a K5 as a second body and it still does a great job.

Thanks for the warm welcome one and all.
Tako suggested I join up and I'm sure I will learn plenty........I certainly need 'educating'.
Fortunately I live in a great location and taking a camera with me makes my 'compulsory' 10K hikes each day meaningful.

Hello from a little to your west in Adelaide. Before the horizon police lurking about on this site spot you, I encourage a little post processing to level those sea/sky boundaries!
