As this is my first post, I thought I'd state that, while I'm not new to taking digital pictures, I'm no photographer. I have acquired several Pentax cameras over the past few years, including multiple Q's, Q7's, Q-S1's, MX-1's, and recently a K-01. I enjoy browsing this forum for pointers and viewing members photos for inspiration!

Below is a photo using my MX-1 (just want to make sure I can successfully upload photos):

Why shouldn't you be? You are one who puts thought into what and how you shoot, and that would mmake you a photographer in my view.
