Had a Pentax K200 I bought while teaching English in Korea. Took about 6000 photos on my way home and the mobo fried two years later.

Just bought a used K-7 with some er, well used Takamura and Pentax M glass. It's all full manual so I'm right back to basics. So far I'm averaging about 30 to 1 good shots. That's when I'm trying. The ratio gets much worse when I'm in "what does that setting do?" mode.

But all said; I'm back in love with photography.

Manual is fun mode. I can use af and take 10 pics to get 1. 6 not best composition and 3 out of focus. I love learning the intuition of a lens focus throw vs confirmed focus along with time parameters based on shutter and depth of field that shrinks my tatget. Its more fun than darts.
