Long term Pentax User

Hi, I've been using Pentax since a ME Super new in 1985. Upgraded to an LX after a year and have since owned an ME, MX, K1000, K2, 6x7 and K10D. I have quite a lens collection too. I traded in the ME Super and K1000, and the MX was stolen. I have been detered for a bit by the lack of a full frame Pentax DSLR, but now thinking of getting a K-1.

Don't get the K-1.....

without getting another spare battery... surely you will shoot more than before. 😄😆

Welcome aboard. Been a Pentax uses for 12 years longer than you have. Just get the K1. Since going digital in 2012, I have purchased a K5, K5-IIs, K3 and finally a K1 in June 2016. The K1 is the first of the line that made me stop longing for Kodachrome. It is a wonderful camera. All of my Pentax DSLR's have been good performers, but the K1 is just that little bit better.
