"Re-Introduction"

Have been away from the forums for almost a year - life, work, etc. Hope to have a bit more time to stop by now. Also noticed that most of the photos I've posted have disappeared - perhaps the old links are broken for some reason. So here's a test shot, just to see if my new flickr account works:

Welcome back! Nice shot of a Great Blue Heron!

Yes, photos are blocked if you were previously with PhotoBucket. Lots of others had/have the same problem and most of them went with flickr.

Your photo isn't linking back to your flickr though.

Thanks for the quick response! Other photos were not on photobucket, were linked from another site ("Steve's Digicams"). Not sure what I did wrong with the flickr link - will investigate later....

When you use flickr use the BBCODE link from the bottom of the photo page that looks like a curved arrow. Click it, select BBCODE, and then set it to a size that is around 800x600 or so (to be friendly to others) and copy and paste the code in. Here's a sample from my recent flickr stuff - posted tiny just to show how the code looks (quote this message and the code should show).

Thanks for the clear explanation!

Happy to pay it forward. I too had the same question once.
