I have found this forum to be so very useful and I wish to thank all who have been so generous with their knowledge.
I am using legacy lenses on my Panasonic Lumix G3. Before, I have gone from my first camera, which was a box camera that my mom owned, up to an 8x10. As I grew, my mother and father would upgrade my camera each Christmas.
I did not get a Pentax till I was pretty old. I studied photography in High School and later with Howard Bond in Ann Arbor. I decided that the Zone system was way too complicated for me. I was working full time and had three teens and was getting my Masters Degree also. I would just mark my B+W film speeds down by about 25% and could get a fairly good print in my darkroom.
I had a darkroom for over thirty years. I still have one but it is too filled with spiders fro me to venture in there. I just throw in a pest bomb in every now and then and run.
I am now selling my large collection of vintage cameras and lenses. I am trying to sell more than I buy.
Again, thank you for all of the fine advice I have found here.
