Hi all. I've been using various Pentax cameras for years, but just found this forum. I currently use a K-20D and K-30. I also have just resurrected my Sears KSX Super that I used for years, since I'm interested in doing 35mm photography again. Luckily, I've no Ricoh lenses with that pin to worry about, so I do a lot of switching back and forth. I live in the Mountains of Central Pennsylvania out on what's called the Scotia Barrens, so I spend a lot of time outdoors. My main hobby is Kayaking and knife making, so I've been shooting a lot of pictures in both areas for years. One of the reasons I'm fond of both my Pentax's is they're "rainproof". Comes in handy out on the water when there's stray drops bouncing around or I get caught in a sudden storm...I do shove them into a drybag to protect the lenses. I'm also a member of our PA Native Plant Society, so I do a lot of shooting in that area also. Glad to be here.
