Hello,
User of Pentax K-m and K5-II (plus sleeping P30 and MZ 50), I'm always happy to learn something new on how to best use them : interested now by proxy/macro for small objects/plants/insects, trying also to understand all possibilities of mounting old/exotic/foreign prime/zooms using rings. I hope to be able to share infos on these subjects,

Bonjour Armel, I love the French and France, I have a small house in the Correze region where I lived for a year but I am back in the UK now. I have bought some old prime lenses to fit onto my Pentax K20D and you have to use manual focus but Pentax have allowed the facility to use old lenses and it works very well indeed once you know how to set up the camera

Leaving your Correze house was a "survival" decision, food is too good there and consequently bad for health+ cholesterol+...=))
I have visited a friend who mounts all kinds of brands on his Sony alpha, using rings and sometimes cutting pieces at the rear or modifying them ! I understand that it is also possible in the Pentax world, but as I have not an expert's confidence, I move very cautiously. Of course, if I buy a useless prime/zoom I can resell it later, but I'll try to avoid such a frustrating experience. Furthermore, old primes/zooms are not so expensive.
