Hi Everyone, And thanks Adam for letting me in the group. I am a fairly new Pentax owner, I've been shooting with Canon for years. I made the jump to Pentax K1 this past April. I must say it has it own unique learning curve. I specifically bought the camera for Astrophotography but now it's pretty much my all around camera. I love it for Astro. I tried to do Star Trails last week. The first time with this camera and I was having some issues so came her to see if I could find some answers since the operating manual didn't really explain how to use the intervalometer. Last week I was having problems with the camera shutting off after a few shots, not what I thought I had programmed in as the interval. It's nice to see that others here were having the same issue and have posted how to work around it. I will try the suggestions to see if it will work for me. Thanks!

Thanks everyone, I tried the in-camera intervalometer last night and it worked fine, now that I know how to use it, thanks to the group. I appreciate all the help.
