I needed a more robust solution for wet/cold weather. I got the KS2 with 18-135 and loved it. I love the image quality and the menu system! Very easy to use and the lenses are cheaper!
What about the focusing system? Always hear that Canikon is ages ahead.

Pentax vs Canon Auto Focus

I have found that the Af is more accurate and faster on my Canon 7D. I use for fast action stuff.
