First DSLR and Pentax, loving it!

Received a Pentax K-70 (body) with the Pentax DA 50mm f1.8 lens and am loving it so far! Excited to join this awesome community that I've been lurking since I've gotten my camera!

Thank you thank you! Yeah, I've gotten more and more interested in photography since I have gotten it and am venturing into more lenses... which is a scary (expensive) road to go on lol.

I actually just bought a used DA 16-45 for about $115, which came in today! Haven't been able to try it out yet since I am at work but can't wait to tomorrow!

Welcome. Good choice - the 16-45 is very versatile and a step up in sharpness from the kit zoom.

Thank you! Exactly what I read for the most part, which is why I ended up getting that instead. I actually never got a kit lens since I just bought the body
