Hi from South Wales but currently in Morocco!

Hi Folks!

Currently in Morocco trying to take some wonderful pictures of scenery and sunsets and found my ISO settings were 'screwed up' for the sunsets so I ended up with really grainy pictures, so I found 'you' and I am hoping that the next time is a lot better having re-set the ISO Settings!

Welcome to the forums!

We've all done things like that before. I have many "one that got away" photos that could have been so much better if I'd checked my settings and taken my time over the shots. It's a hard lesson when the photos are of beautiful, rarely visited places - but the good news is, those lessons are rarely forgotten!

Enjoy your break. Looking forward to seeing some of your images

Welcome to the forums. As you said, if you can control your ISO you will not have the grainy effect. Good luck!

Hi Folks!

'Thank you' all for a really warm welcome to this Forum.

I will as requested share with you the links to all the travel blogs I have put together, and then you can decide which one or ones you would like to look at as they all contain pictures from the first Pentax camera I had and then my current K-500.

However I must be honest and tell you that when we are travelling my good lady does the 'shooting' and she uses a camera that she feels comfortable with as her pictures are normally taken in the passenger seat of our car.

Not sure at the moment as a 'newby' of where I can put the links as I do not wish to tread on toes by putting them in here!

Will come back and let you know where they are.......
