Greetings! I took my K20d in to have it cleaned and walked out with a K-1! Just to clarify, I Bought the K-1. and I WILL go back to pickup my K20 when they've finished. (they offered $60.00 trade in) I may send it off for the infrared conversion but will probably just hold on to it as a backup.
This will make the third Pentax dslr I have had. I enjoyed the first two and expect the new one will follow suit as well.

Let this be a lesson to all. Never handle a Pentax K1. I handed my K1 to a friend of mine who has been a Nikon user for 45 years. Even he was affected by it. He loved it. Still staying Nikon because of his glass, but he was mightily impressed.

I thought I had retired my older body, a K-5D. Now it's part of my two-camera field rig - mounting the DA300 while the K3II gets the FA100 macro. The old bodies still have a lot of use, you'll find uses for it, I'm sure.
