New member from Eastern CT. Life long Pentax Person.

Shooting pictures for 40 years.. Favorite Quote You have to Look beyond the trees. Motto takes 100 to get a good one and 1000 to get a great one. Welcome aboard. The best thing about a DSLR is that you can easily shoot 1,000 images in a day.

I've seen a 1Dx shooter shoot 1300 images in 2 hours. But he didn't get better images than I did in the end.

anyone have an issue with the k-30 and not starting up? Mine as failed while on vacation. So Frustrated

That's also the worst thing about a DSLR

When you flip the power switch, nothing happens? Nothing on the LCD and the shutter button does nothing?


Some camera lockups can be solved by taking the battery out for a few minutes.


Charge and switch batteries if you have a spare.
