Welcome!

I had the great fortune of visiting Paris and Nice after highschool in 1996. Still have four photos I took with my dad's old range finder camera of the gardens at Monet's house on the wall in my livingroom. Many wonderful memories of your country.

What areas of photography do you like to work in other than landscapes ?
Hi Aslyfox,
Capturing Landscapes is what I love the most, it is relaxing, it doesn't move, and it changes with weather and time of the day.
Now that i have the DA 40XS (I love it), I try portrait and street photography.

Thank you for your time. I really enjoy these forums !

you should look at this thread

prime, prime, everywhere a prime... - PentaxForums.com

there might be DA 40mm F2.8 XS photos among them

without a doubt, you will find some great prime lens photos, including landscapes:

Bon voyage!
