Hi, all:
I just pulled the trigger on a Pentax ME Super with 50 mm and a zoom lens (not sure what kind). I'm been (and remain) a Nikon user for most of my 50 years of photography, but I wanted ot try something a bit different, so here I am.
I'm a retired professional photographer, befgore that a chemist, and for many years, I ran a small commercial darkroom, so I guess film is still in my blood. Although, I have a digital (Nikon D7100), I really enjoy shooting my F5 and my N2020, along with my F3 and FG cameras. I also shoot a Mamiya 645 pro tl with a wide selection of lenses/
I mostly shoot B&W (Ilford) but have been playing around with some Ultrafine film in 645 and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with the grain and acutance - especially for the $$$!
I'm looking forward to learning about the Pentax systems - never had one although I know folks who were happy with them.
