| Newbie greetings from Alabama
Hey all...or should I say " y'all "  I am a newbie on many levels...new to photography, new to the USA and, now, also new to the forum  I've been interested in photography for a while now and, as such, my husband surprised me with a Pentax K-70 for my birthday earlier this year (lucky me!). This worked out great as we recently emigrated from Cape Town, South Africa to Birmingham, Alabama, giving me a new adventure to capture and time to get into my new hobby as I'm still waiting for my work permit. Looking forward to exploring the forum. | |

"Y'all" is correct; "you'uns" when you get up into the hill country. Seriously, though: welcome! I actually had a South African doctor and his wife in my class when I taught at UAB years ago...lovely people, and of course, stellar students. Hope to see shots as you explore your new environment. | |
