Hey. I just need to post this so that I can comment on a review for an 28mm Promura.

Confession; I am not primarily a Pentax shooter. I do however have a collection of m42 mount lenses, several of them Takumars, which I really love. This site has been a huge help w/r/t lens info, and the user uploaded photos are nice too

Concerning the title of this thread, I came into possession of a 28mm 2.8 Soligor C/D lens with some "macro" capabilities. After searching all over I could find not a scrap of info regarding this lens, however, my search did uncover several lens' that seem similar, one even identical, except for the rubber grip and mount. So now I'm on my way to this page to share my findings:

You may have noticed that there is a thriving non-Pentax sub-forum on this site and I am sure they will welcome you with open arms.

BTW...thanks for the review

Another BTW...you might want to provide a reference (like this one for the 20mm Soligor) showing that your Soligor is equivalent.

Also...I guess serial number is important as well.
