Hello, My name is Kim and I live in Iowa and winter in Florida. I have always wanted to take beautiful pictures, but didn't have the time or money to dedicate to a film camera. My husband bought me a K-S2 a couple of years ago and I have been snapping shots ever since. I'm strictly an amateur. I've played around some with the settings, but love the auto mode too. So far, I have only used the two lenses that came with my camera: 4-5.6/18-50 and 50-200. I just ordered the HD DA 55-300mm f/4.5-6.3 ED PLM WR RE Lens. Can't wait for it to get here Monday. And, I've been playing around with my husband's old 1:1.7 50mm manual lens. I uploaded some of my pictures just for fun. I'm excited to join the forum and hope to learn lots. Wishing everyone happy photo days!

Welcome to the forum. Love your pelican photos. When I lived in St Pete's in Florida there were many of them around.

The 55-300 plm is a joy compared to the 50-200. I come from iowan parents who emigrated to Minnesota. Welcome and enjoy the company.

Small world! Several of these were taken in Clearwater and Palm Harbor. :-)
