Hello, my handle is loyalt. I am a sports photographer for local high schools and D3 colleges/universities. Most of my photography time is donated, as I want all students, no matter their economic situation to have photos of themselves as they participate in athletics. I also do periodic senior portraits, as well as candid photos at family/friends' weddings. I have been into photography since I got my Pentax K-1000 for college graduation in 1984. I have always only used Pentax equipment, getting my first digital camera, the K-20D, as a birthday gift/upgrade from my husband and children in 2009. Since then, I have used it to bless the high school where my husband (and now daughter) teach and coach. I have given my K-20D to my daughter for her college graduation, and now shoot with both a K-5 and a K-3. When my children went to play soccer in college, I started shooting the men's and women's teams in the 12-15 D3 colleges here in Minnesota. I love Pentax and always stand up for the brand when on the sidelines with other sports photographers. At the recent D3 NCAA National Track Meet, I was the only Pentax used in the sports media room. I would love for Ricoh/Pentax to make a good 400mm f2.8 lens. I look forward to meeting others in this forum. I have attached a recent photo from the National meet.
