Visiting Texas from Iowa?

Hello,
My name is Taylor. I just wanted to say hi!
I finally have had the opportunity to get a new camera since my
sweet husband accidentally broke my camera 2 christmas' ago.
After doing a TON of research I decided the K-70 was going to be
my next camera since my husband is rough on electronics.
I am really excited to start shooting again and to get involved in this community!!!

Welcome to the Forums. The K-70 is a lot of camera for the money. But as you have waited such a long time for it, you should be able to get him to throw in a few extra lenses,

Where are you going to visit in Texas, and what are you going to try to capture with your k70 while there?

Hahaha unfortunately, it was kind of my own doing in 1) setting a terrible example and 2) taking a year and a half to decide what camera I wanted to buy after we had worked it into our budget and set enough aside to buy one. I even took an extra week to decide after the deadline I gave him because he was wondering if I was ever going to get one. I'll probably take another year deciding what glass to buy next 😂

I am hoping to go to a hiking trail I've been told about in Dallas, there are also some beautiful places in Wichita Falls, I'll be taking a road trip to Philadelphia soon here as well and I was just going to work on some more artistic shots playing with shadows.
