Thanks for your support I really appreciate ! This camera make it almost easy to get nice pictures it seems, the TAv mode works great with the default cap for automatic sensivity at 3200 ISO. Havent even tried the full auto or P mode

I would like to move out to shot some landscape or city things but stuck at work busy atm, I will probably post in other topics now it may be more appropriate

The "A" series will be fully functional with your new camera if you leave the lens's aperture ring set on "A" (Automatic) and then the aperture will be set from the camera body instead of using the ring, which is now the standard for modern lenses, most of which do not have a ring. I have been shooting with Pentax DSLRs and film SLR cameras for a long time.
Thanks Mike I received it a few days ago and started to play with yesterday, its fun to have so much light but I have to practice on manual focus I'm a little slow to reach focus. The nice thing it AF red dot in viewfinder on K-70 will show up with this lens it can help to see where exactly you are on focus

Cross posted example from the review section for this lens

Cheers
Benoit

Hi there from Canada,
if you liked the AF speed of the 18-135mm but want more reach, the 55-300mm PLM is the one to get.

Hi, the AF is fine on the 18-135 and it's really a versatile lens I used it more being on vacation. I got myself a used SMC DA 55-300 at a fair price, it's not as quick to focus as modern ones and it's noisy but can have it's use
