I like Southport! Lord st would be brilliant for street photography, especially at the moment with the sun casting interesting shadows as it passes through the canopies. Also your 18-135 means you don't have to get into peoples faces. See if you can get an smc da 35mm f2.4(?) Plastic fantastic lens. You can get them cheap (£50-£75) and using a prime will give you a different perspective. You could also see if you can grab a Pentax-m. You can get a manual focus 50mm f2 for peanuts

Cerebum, My brother has kindly loaned me his 35mm (plastic fantastic), as well as the smc da 50mm which I have used. Greatly lenses! Yes I agree Southport has many great areas for some street photography, just need to find the time... Looks the pentax-m 50mm f2 is a great little lens for the money!
