I'v been away for many years so my account did not excisted anymore and I had to recreate it.
After I shot film on a Canon T50 in the 80s i'v been away from photography for a while, just shooting some click and shoots.
But started back in 2006 with digital with a K110 and after a while the Pentax K10. Did a lot of work and after a while turned to Canon. First a 40D and after that a 5D MKIII. With a lot of great L-glas and so on. But than came a time in my life in the end of 2012 I needed the money and sold everything. I had to, but it was for a good reason. So no worries there.
Back in 2013 I wanted a good cam again and bought a Fujifilm X100s. Great walk-around streetcam. But it started to itch again and I made a list of what I wanted, and also could afford.
I always kept very good memories of my Pentaxes, And in the end the photographer and the budget directs what you can do. So for me the choice is Pentax again, much more value for your money. So yesterday I ordered the K-70 with 18-135 online. Hope to receive it soon. As I heared the 18-135 is not that bad also.
Basically I'm starting from scratch again. Than soon I'll buy one or more primes and keep the gear good but small. And can always change the K-70 later for the K3-II successor.
So I'm going to photograph a whole lot more now, and probably will be visiting the forum again, hopefully for many many years. Feeling excited again.

Welcome back! I too, recently purchased a K70. I have found it is an incredible camera for the money. I have been nothing but impressed so far. I have tried to keep hold of the reigns as to not acquire too much gear too soon!
