A long time reader, but now registered

Started out in b&w with an old Rolleiflex twin lens reflex, then many years with Canon before trying something new with Pentax 3 years ago. The forum helped me research cameras when I bought the K50 - I wanted a weather proof camera on a budget. Have enjoyed it but now have gotten the dreaded K-50 aperature block problem. Will post separately on that. Have the 18-135 wr and 55-300 wr lenses. Looking forward to being a reader again.

Welcome to the forum...as a poster. Hopefully you'll wait a while before becoming just a reader again.

Yes, sorry. Poor choice of words. Reader and poster is the goal.

Welcome. I hope you get answers that help with the aperture block, several threads are dedicated to the problem.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry about your aperture block. There are now good deals to be had on the very reliable K-3 and K-3II.
