Excited Enthusiast Eagerly Awaiting my Pentax K-70 (ran out of E's)

I purchased a Panasonic FZ70 3 years ago before I headed out on a mission trip to Nairobi, Kenya. I want much, much better IQ (see, I'm already learning) so I just purchased a Pentax K-70 and the 18-135 lens. I spent over 1000,00000.25 hours researching this camera and I know it is going to be the perfect fit for my next step. I've already learned a great deal from this forum and I hope to eventually give back as I continue to learn.

I had a Panasonic FZ5 & FZ8 before I bought my K-x. Hope you enjoy Pentax as much as I have for the last 9 years or so. (I had a K1000 in the 80's/90's...)

The biggest thing to keep in mind going from a small sensor camera to APS-C is that you won't have the depth of field on APS-C that you had on the 1/2.3-inch sensor. Your 18-135mm lens won't have as wide an angle of view and nowhere near as small at the tele end. But once you learn what the lens can do you'll love it.

Congratulations! You have a lot of learning and fun ahead. Once you've started shooting the K-70 don't forget to play the alphabet race, LOL.
