Hello all. I have been lurking on the forum for some time and thought it was about time I posted. I had a K100d years ago which unfortunately died a premature and watery death (don't ask!) but have recently picked up a second hand K5 which I am enjoying hugely. What a fantastic camera! I've attached a pic by way of introduction, taken with the K5 and the 18-55. Hope to post many more over the coming years.

Welcome to Pentax Forums. I had two K-5s. It is a nice camera and is capable of excellent images. I had the Pentax 18-55 AL II lens also.

Welcome from Baltimore, Maryland, USA. I've traveled to N.I several times, and really loved it---first in '95, then again in '98, and then again in 2007. A favorite part of the world for me.
