Hi everyone,

I've been reading PF for a few months now and I learned plenty of useful things.
I have a few-years-long darkroom experience but eventually, I switched to digital and bought K-50, which I'm very satisfied with. If the time allows I go for photo walks, mostly for nature.

Welcome! Can't wait to see some of those pics from Poland...last year we had an exchange student from Poland...she was most interesting, and shared some Polish traditions and food with us. It was a great time....

Thanks. I also deal with students and a litle bit of science once in a while. I plan to post some pictures soon but cannot guarantee they will be more "polish" than any others on this forum

I was in Poland few weeks ago (Augustow-Elk-Bialystok area). Very beautiful country. I'll definitely be back next year.

nice to see chaps from eastern Europe here :-)

@Aksel, you need to go little bit deeper to Southern parts of Poland, try Biebrza National Park in Spring, when thousands birds are arriving from Africa and Mediterranean countires, visit Podlasie, Bieszczady etc.

@Chris_K, indeed, it is more than worth to visit Estonia but you have to be prepared for exceptional number of mosquitos in some places ;-) Anyway, Parnu and Tallin are free from these insects and will amaze you with their beauty!
