| Hello from a Chinese in France
Hello, my dear fellow Pentaxians! I'm Norman, a Chinese living in France now. I started my Pentaxian life with a K-r like quite a long time ago. It didn't function very well, pushing me to trade it for a second-hand K-5, which I still use from time to time today. God it's compact and light (in comparison to its peers at the time)! Then I got some other Pentax/Ricoh stuff like the cool yellow K-01, the GR (first generation APS-C model, with the shutter component problem that I had fixed once but reemerged again in one year, paralyzing this little monster and leaving it in the corner of a drawer...), and the finest member of the family so far - K-1 (I read reviews that claimed that mark II actually comprised on image quality somehow...), and of course a bunch of Pentax's renowned glasses, especially the limited series pancakes! I like to wander around and take photos of interesting scenes and people I encounter. I shoot events like marriages for my friends too. I also use the pixel-shift function to digitalize paintings for my love. Voila, that's about it. I wish all the Pentaxians here a wonderful day and more ahead, with our endeared Pentax cameras around to record the meaningful.  | |
