Hello from Connecticut, new to me Pentax 6x7 coming on Wednesday.

Hello everyone.
I have been shooting 35mm since about 1970.
I have a few ME Supers and lenses, along with my long time Leicaflex SL. Canon Digital when I need it.

I have wanted a MF for some time.
I just took a risk and purchased this from ebay.
Photos look like NIB with all packaging and original batteries in original wrapping:
Asahi Pentax With Mirror Up Device 6x7 Body Super SLR
Asahi Pentax Takumar Lens 300mm F4
Asahi Pentax Takumar Lens Macro 135mm (box has slight dent on upper corner)
Asahi Pentax Takumar Super Multi Coated Lens 105mm F2.4
Asahi Pentax Super Multi Coated Lens 65mm F2.8
Asahi Pentax SMC 55mm F4 Lens
Asahi Pentax Wood Grip
Pentax Digital Spotmeter
Asahi Pentax TTL Penta Prism Finder
2 ea. Vivitar UV Haze 67mm Filter
1 ea. Hoya UV 77.0 Filter

Can't wait to get it and put it to use.
I read the sticky about damaging the "chain", anything else a first time user should know?
I will post pictures of everything when I get it and operationally check it out.

Thanks,
David

Welcome.

Your question about "anything else a first time user should know" is answered in a thread called "General Talk Guidelines", posted by Adam, in the General Talk forum thread.

Hey enjoy. One of the biggest surprises to a new 67 user is just how utterly, magically fantastic the 105 f2.4 is. I've got a nice range of 67 lenses. But that 'normal' lens isn't normal. It's extraordinary. The bokeh is so beautiful that you can often recognise the lens straight away when you see an image made with it.
