Hello from San Francisco!

I recently bought a Pentax 645z, I actually sold my Nikon D850 to get it...I used to work for Ricoh an number of years and Pentax loaned me one of these to get some photos for their website when the camera was first introduced, I had the camera for 4 or 5 months and fell in love with it, and it was hard to give it back...

After getting the D850 about 6 months ago, no full frame really compares (at least to me) to the Pentax 645z. (I guess that's why they call it medium format) This forum was really helpful to read the articles when I was debating getting this camera recently.

I guess that is not automatically self-evident. Click on the "Forum" tab at the top of the page and then select "Forum Home". If you scroll down about halfway you will come to "Photo Sharing and Galleries" and the first option under that is "Post your photos". Once in there, you simply start a new thread, fill in the details and attach your photos. A word of warning - make sure you select an appropriate category or everything ends up in "Abstract".

Many people either upload a photo to their own PF gallery or album, then share it in a thread on PF. I use Flickr and post a link to the photo here, so it shows up in the thread.

You can also join groups, like Single In or Daily In, (in my signature block below) or other groups like California Pentaxians. You could even start your own group.

In any case, welcome, I look forward to seeing your photos!
