Hello from London

Hi

I'm Georgina, and I've just bought a K1000 and MX as I want to get back into film photography. In London the weather is grey and damp and there are few hours of daylight at this time of year, so clearly this is the best time to get excited about film photography... This weekend should be sunny, so I'm going to see what I can capture.

My father in law gave me his bulk loading and film processing equipment, so I'm going to give the whole life cycle a go to see what it's all about.

Hi Georgina, and welcome from Australia. There are many members here that still use film, so any help or advice you may need will be happily given.

Welcome to Pentax Forums. I too have a K-1000. It was my first Pentax camera. I just wanted to mention that using a tripod for longer exposures would enable you to shoot on overcast days if you possibly wanted to. Just a suggestion in case you did not already possibly know.

Happy shooting!
