I agree, you're a good writer and your contributions here would be welcomed. The best way, and the most constructive for this community as a whole, would be to either become a home page writer (per Adam's on-going requests for same), or post in our articles section (something I've done myself on a few occasions). A link to your non-commercial blog in your signature allows for a degree of promotion without using these forums expressly for that purpose.
