Welcome Hannah. You'll find lots of Australians like me here too.

There's a natural bias in the membership towards English-speaking countries, but there's a good spread of members from around the world, as Adam's map shows. If you look in any of the thematic (Mini-Challenges, Games, and Photo Stories - PentaxForums.com) or lens club (Lens Clubs - PentaxForums.com) threads, you'll see images from all over the world.

Don't be reticent about sharing your photos. One thing about this forum is that contributions are welcomed from people with all levels of experience, from newbies to pros, and all types of interests. As @microlight said, most of us are amateurs, and no matter what our level of experience we are all still learning.

You can share photos by using the free hosting on Pentax Forums, or you can post your photos on another site (the most popular is Flickr) and link to them from there.
