New to Film Cameras, like many, own a Pentax K1000

Hey everyone, I found this forum unfortunately because I'm having some issues that i'll make a separate post for. Just hoping to learn and start shooting film

The K1000 is a great camera. Just keep in mind that the light meter is very primitive when compared to modern digital cameras. It will not always give you the correct exposure, but that is part of the learning process. You have to know the limitations of the camera and recognize when to apply some exposure compensation of your own. These days, we have hugely powerful processors and multi-multi-multi segment metering that think for us.
