Hi All
I am from British Columbia Canada. Have a k-50 with the two kit lenses. The camera is having the dark exposure problem. Have been reading lots of postings on this problem. Tried most of the temporary fixes and all failed. When camera is shut off for a short period of time the problem returns. For now I will explore the forums and learn more.

You should have no problem using lenses with aperture rings in manual mode. The M42 lenses also will work perfectly normally.

Welcome to the Forums. Sorry to hear about your problems but as @UncleVanya says, you can always use it in manual mode. Time to invest in some Takumars! You will not regret it.

Welcome to the forum. If you are mechanically inclined, there are some forum members who have repaired (replaced) the solenoid themselves. Otherwise, as stated, lenses with aperture rings work.

Welcome to the forum, is your choice of forum name, a suggestion of your future aspirations in joining a rather outstanding agency?
