Hi all
I live in Merredin Western Australia and find that I enjoy photography (novice). I have only ever bought and used Pentax cameras, something that I inherited from my father. I need to know more about photography so I think Pentax forums is a good place to start. I own a K200d and a Kx with 2 18-55mm lenses and a Sigma DG 70-300mm lens

Welcome, there's quite a few West Aussies on here. One of my goals is to photograph all of the painted silo's and the ones at Merredin are still on my "to do" list.

Let me know if you would like me to take any sample snaps or need any access I work very close to these silos and can possibly access an elevated work platform

Thanks I will do. I've visited the ones in Albany and Northam so far and the only problem is that they are still working silo's so you can't get close to them. But they are impressive.
