I'm back and hope to stay!

Hi All, I was active here a couple years back when I had my K3ii. I had sold it and went to a different system but now I'm back now shooting with a K1ii. Current lens I own is the FA 31mm. I hope to own the rest of the amigos. I'm glad to be back and hope to stay aboard.

Welcome back. Of course there will be a whipping. Many seem to thank that Pentax is only for masochists.

Welcome back Y_V_E_S! I think that you will stay with your great kit now!

can you tell us a few things why you left and your experiences on the "other side"? The D7200 is considered to be one of the best APS-C all around cameras... but didn't keet you away from Pentax!

I think if I had no other camera or lens, that would be my starting point (well, K-1ii OR K-1) - obviously the point of ILC is to I Ls, but it's a great combo

Welcome back and happy shooting.
From what I've seen and reviews I've read the K1/K1ii will stand toe to toe with about anything out there.

Welcome back! I know other people are joking, but hey who are we to judge. How are you liking the K1ii?

Well, I left because I wasn't really invested into any system, and was pressured by some colleagues to get a Nikon. The Nikon D7200 was nice but after using it for the year I had it, it just didn't feel good in my hands. I just missed the feel of the Pentax. After getting the K1ii it just felt right.

I'm loving it! For some reason I already knew my way around the camera like i've had it for years. As for lenses, I was debating whether to get invest in the 3 amigos or go with the DFA zooms but I think i'm going with the route that suites me well and my style of photography with the amigos. The 31mm is a gorgeous lens and renders wonderful images with the K1ii. Can't wait to grab the 43 and 77.

I to have felt the pressure to go to Nikon. If I lived on the west coast as you do, I would buy a K-1 and the 15-30mm and more primes and travel that coast.
