Hi all. I'm a (just) 40-something living in the UK. I stumbled into using Pentax 35mm SLRs a few years ago and see absolutely no reason to change. I have a couple of 35mm bodies and lenses and like 'em all. I use a host of other 35mm and MF cameras as well as some larger format beasts and a few different Polaroids too. I'm the opposite of a gear freak though and try to steer clear of the overly technical aspects of photographic equipment. For me it's all about the image.....and using film.
I was an early adopter of digital back in the mid 90's, but returned to film 8 years ago and that's where I'm going to stay. It excites me more. I co-run a film-only site dedicated to creative/arty farty photography called
filmwasters.com and can be found mostly on the forum we run there. I thought I'd sign up here to catch up on all things K-mount-related which I've been missing over the years and to experience a properly run photo forum (as opposed to the anarchy of my own
). I'm particularly interested in picking up some info on lenses as I feel I could do with adding a couple more to my collection.
Looking forward to diving right in.
