hello lakingsfan82, I am new to the forum myself but I saw your I phone x photo of Tower bridge and its nicely composed but you are always always going to struggle with that type of sky in the backround, just to much backlight for any type of clear detail in the foreground but that's what your here for welcome.

Welcome to the clubhouse!
I liken that D40 to the Pentax K10. Officially, it's obsolete but keeps working like a champ.

G'day from Australia. I will be going to be in London on the 12th/13th/14th of June as part of my 4 week Europe trip.
I will (as usual) be on the lookout for other Pentax users
Any advice for photos in London?

Hi villainofoz 😊 Iím in London on 13th June as well with my friend whoís a professional photographer & weíre taking photos around London & sheís giving me some tips etc, London has quiet a few good places for photos thereís St. Paulís cathedral, the graffiti at Leake Street arches , tower bridge, the shard, st dunstan or the east (church ruins) & of course Highgate cemetery with the very big vaults (tour guide only) just to name a few 😊
