Purchased a K-70 a couple of months ago

Really enjoying taking photos with it. So far I have purchased a Pentax-M SMC 50mm f1.7 and a Pentax-A SMC 28mm f2.8

What other lenses do you recommend at low prices?

What kinds of lenses are you looking for? Prime? Zoom? Macro?

Value-wise, the Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 is a great choice for a zoom. For primes, it's hard to go wrong with lots of the Pentax legacy lenses.

I shoot mostly outdoors with my K-70, and both the Tamron and Sigma 70-300mm AF zooms can be found at very reasonable prices. For shooting in the weather I use a Pentax 50-200mm WR.

Welcome aboard What do you intend to photograph, if museums then the the Tamron as Adam suggested or the Sigma equivalent, if general purpose in good light then look for a DA 18-135 or 16-85mm at sale prices. Given that you will use them extensively for over 5 years they would be value for money, even if you have to stretch to get them. Resist more primes until you have used zooms and know what you really need. my 2c.
BTW congrats on the K-70, fab feature set and unbeatable for the money.

DA18-135 is a great versatile choice. If funds are limited, it's hard to go wrong with the 18-55 kit lens (WR or not). Small, light and inexpensive, with a very useful focal range.

Welcome, as for additional lenses... just buy what you need, when what you've got won't do it.

Welcome to the forum... at low prices... DA 35 2.4 comes to mind, or any of the 24-90 type FA lenses.

Welcome! I have the K-70 from about 5 months ago, and by coincidence, the 2 lenses you mention having had them from my old SLR days. The 50mm is a great lens and super sharp on this camera! I've also purchased a 100mm M Macro f/4 on eBay, in immaculate condition - great fun to use with fabulous manual focusing. I also have a Sigma 18-300 for a walk-around, all-day lens plus a Sigma 10-20 f/3.5 for interiors and architecture. The K-70 is my first serious DSLR and I have to say that it takes time to really understand the huge amount of available settings when you compare to an SLR. But I've got the hang of it now and i'm getting much, much better results than when I bought it, especially in manual mode. So take the time to improvise and experiment with it. Have fun!

After using my k70 for some months now, I love using the 10-17 fisheye lens which I find to be super sharp and great value for money.

With 32 different lenses atm, I would recommend any in my backpack (listed below in my signature) as being a great lens. There are many more lenses that would be suitable - I guess it depends if you want primes, zooms or a mix for your photgraphy.

I have mostly concentrated on WR lenses for my backpack for travel.
