Hi All,
I've been checking out various lens here for awhile to see what members think of the different ones and the quality etc which has been very helpful in deciding what to purchase for my new Pentax K-70 twin lens outfit. I bought the K-70 a few months ago while it was being sold at a reduced price for a limited period from my local camera shop not the big stores. I've been using mainly Micro Four Thirds System cameras like Panasonic Lumix and never bought a DSLR but have had several SLR film cameras. I like the robust K-70 although it takes some working out how to get the best out of the many settings. I bought several lens for it that I think will provide me a good range of photographic options. Besides the included kit lens 18-50mm and 50-200mm WR I bought a 1:4-5.8 55-300mm ED, a smc DA 50mm F1.8, and a smc DA 1:2.8 40mm limited all vg con second hand at a reasonable price.
I enjoy taking photos of my local landscape which is moorland, woodland, canal and riversides etc. I like to do more urban and street photography. I'm always willing to learn techniques to enhance my skills. I post a lot of my photographs on facebook groups and have a good following and have posted on websites like youpic etc. I attach three photos I took the other day using my K-70 and 40mm limited lens.
Thanks!
Robert
