Hey everyone, from the Adirondacks of Upstate New York

I just bought a K70 that I can't wait to get. It'll be my first DSLR and my first camera that isn't a cell phone since 2006. I'm living in a beautiful place right now and I would really like to have some high quality photos to remember it by. Here's a couple of cell phone photos that I wish I'd had a better camera for. I'm a complete beginner and looking forward to learning from you all. :-)

Welcome to the forums, and congratulations on that fine, incoming K-70... an extremely capable camera. It will serve you well, I'm sure.

I like your phone camera photos very much. You have a good eye, and with scenery like that to photograph, I think you've made a great choice with the K-70

Welcome to the forums - is that Lake George? It looks familiar (not the touristy part by the north-east edge where there's good hiking)...

Cheers!

There's two different lakes in those pictures. One is Sacandaga Lake (not Great Sacandaga) and the other is Fawn Lake.

Thanks for the welcome everyone!
