New to Pentax

Hi, all manual film shooter here. Still very much a beginner but have spent a few years shooting with a fixed-lens rangefinder and some POS's. Also a lot of digital before that. Mainly family related stuff, but also portraits and cityscape type stuff. I like well built stuff that is compact and very simple (not in an electronic way).

Welcome!
I have thought about getting a viewfinder, they seem like fun. The Pentax Q with 01 lens is essentially one!

It said in review I read, that it had a 1:1.7 sensor. The Q is 1:23 as is my XG-1. The MX-1 has a larger sensor. That must make it some kind of pinnacle of Pentax point and shoot design.

Welcome from mid america. So I hope POS means point and shoot? It can't be what I'm thinking.
