New to this world

Hi everyone,

I have been a photographer for the past year or so and have enjoyed all of it. Most recently I got to hear about legacy lenses and after doing some research, I finally got my first one: Helios 44m-4 58mm F2...and because getting "only" one is not enough ( gotta make the adapter's investment-worthy!) I went for another one... It is scary as Germany has a lot of lenses like these available.... So my second lens is SMC Takumar 135mm F2.5 supposedly, the good version

So I am here to learn more and see what you do with your old school gear. Thanks for letting me in

Welcome to the Forums. You have two highly regarded lenses there. Have fun with them, But don't neglect Zeiss M42 glass either. We can help you spend your money!

Most of us are pleasant and willing to share what knowledge we have, although maybe sometimes it is a bit less than we think. But overall the mods do a great job and it's a fun place to hang out and learn a bit along the way.
