Yes I am very lucky Jeff. Taking the 50/1.4 to a wedding this week-end but on the KP as having to fly there so I can do with minimising on the weight. It will give me the extra reach as well. I'll post something on my return . Never used this lens before so am super excited!

My two favourite Pentax bodies, and two of my favourite Pentax lenses. Yes, you certainly qualify!

The GR doesn't count of course - you need a 645Z and a Q mount body

Hahaha. Let me at least give my credit card a rest for a while please not least because I haven't been paid yet for the items I sold to get this far

<<The GR doesn't count of course>> I guess that might make me a Richonian which doesn't sound as good.

I'd best start saving because I'm running out of camera gear to sell

I sold my 40 along. I got a 43 and it was just better for me in every way. The corners of the 40 were a little better, but the 43's images were just consistently prettier, so the 40 left me.

please note I said the 40 XS was " the best lens in its class "

of course, it is the only lens in its class

I did not mean that it was the best lens ever made

Lovely images! How does the 50mm 1.4 handle on your KP? I also have a KP but don't use it much. However, the 75mm focal length equivalent using the 50mm makes me think how good it will be for portraits.

Post more images - would love to see them!
